After any major international meeting, the big question is always, "So, what's next?" This video I worked on for Sanitation and Water for All (SWA) was designed to answer exactly that, turning the outcomes of their Finance Ministers' Meeting into a clear and actionable path forward.
The main task was to create an informational video that would summarize the key takeaways from the meeting and outline the next steps for all the partners involved. The creative approach was to use clean, clear motion graphics to break down what could be very dense information into a simple, easy-to-digest format. This project also ended up being a bit of a technical experiment for me.
The video is structured to be super clear and logical. It starts with a recap of the meeting, shows the global scale of the partnership, and then dedicates most of the runtime to a simple, numbered list of follow-up actions. The goal was to make the path forward feel organized and achievable.
What makes this project stand out in my memory is that it was the very first time I used AI to generate a voice-over from a script. The technology was still pretty new at the time, and I remember it took a lot of trial and error to get the pacing and pronunciation to sound natural. It was a long process, but for a technology that was just emerging, I was really pleased with how it turned out!
This project was a great blend of straightforward corporate communication and personal technical exploration. It was a reminder that it's always worth taking the time to experiment with new tools, even if it's a steep learning curve. Getting that AI voice to finally work in sync with the clean visuals was a really satisfying moment and a great experience to have.
