Working with stock photography always presents a unique creative challenge: how do you make it feel authentic, special, and on-brand? For this Appletiser "Kiss the Moment" campaign, the solution was all in the framing.
The goal for this campaign was to position Appletiser as the perfect companion for genuine moments of connection. The core idea was to show that the drink doesn't have to be the center of attention, but rather a natural part of an ongoing, beautiful moment. To bring this to life, I developed a simple but effective visual device: a light, elegant frame that sits over the photograph.
The "light frame" concept was the heart of the campaign. It acts like a window, drawing your eye to the core of the action and suggesting that we're peeking into a real, unstaged scene.
A huge part of this project was the art direction. I spent a lot of time carefully curating the stock images to find photos that felt alive and authentic. We weren't just looking for happy people, but for specific moments—the shared laughter, the playful romance, the genuine celebration.
This was a great lesson in the power of a simple concept to elevate existing assets. It proved to me that you don’t always need a huge, custom photoshoot to create an emotional and beautiful campaign. Sometimes, the most effective tool is a simple frame that helps people see the magic in a moment that’s already there.
