This was a really interesting challenge. I was tasked with designing a press kit for Kanuhura, a luxury resort in the Maldives, but I had to do it all remotely. The goal was to make people feel what it was like to be there, without ever having stepped on the island myself.
When I was at Sun Resorts, we worked on the relaunch of Kanuhura. They had this amazing core concept of "gypset" living—mixing a free-spirited, bohemian vibe with high-end luxury. The resort’s muse was the model Erin Wasson, who has this cool, tattooed, wanderer spirit. My job was to take all of that—the concept, the muse, and a bank of photos—and build a press kit that told that specific story and felt really premium.
It was a fun puzzle trying to balance those two feelings—the polished 5-star experience and the authentic, raw spirit. I think the final design walks that line pretty well, where it feels sophisticated but still has a human touch.
What I’m most proud of is how we translated the "muse" into the design. I used brush stroke graphics throughout the layouts to give it this raw, artistic texture that felt like it connected back to Erin Wasson's style. It was a simple way to keep the clean, luxury layout from feeling too sterile.
Honestly, the biggest personal win was creating a sense of place I'd never visited. Relying purely on the brief and the images to build an authentic atmosphere was a great creative exercise, and I was really happy with the world we managed to build on the page.
